Friday Finish

Just a little finish for a friend.

That little machine embroidered house was a gift
and it adds SO much to these little potholders!

I try to USE up all the scraps over here....
but little projects like this don't help me at ALL with THAT dream.
LOL!!

At least there are a LOT of scraps to CHOOSE from!!

Potholders are 9"x 9"
and are made using an old CLEAN towel for batting.

  1. I had planned on making more pot holders and after one I never got back to it - I still have some of the insul bright so I guess I need to.

  2. I never tire of seeing your pot holders. You got me to making them. I try to make two or three a month for Christmas, quick gifts and donation. People love them and they are great scrap busters. If you don't mind me asking, how many layers of towel cloth do you use in a pot holder?

  3. such a fun way to use up scraps. I am thinking of using some of the farmgirl vintage pattern blocks as potholders. so so cute and fun for the nieces kitchens. will make and put in the gift box I keep in my room for finished projects.

  4. Hahahaha! Don't we all try to use up all of our scraps. Mine are overwhelming me. I'm finally getting to the point that I'm just going to toss (gasp!) some of the smaller ones. Love the house though.

  5. Very pretty, even if they don't come close to breaking up all the scraps.
